If a gas fire needs disconnecting to gain access to the flue area, please ensure you use a qualified Gas Safe (formerly Corgi) registered gas engineer before booking me, i can thoroughly recommend Ron Timmons of Everon Plumbing & Heating on 07789-482085

I do NOT conduct `top down` sweeps and i do not conduct ANY roof work of any sort ( apart from drone inspections) , this includes the installation of cowls / new pots,  should you require this type of work please arrange for it to be completed prior to booking me.

If your log burner requires lifting out of the fireplace opening in order to for me to access the flue please arrange the removal before i arrive.

Please go outside and check that any existing chimney pot is vertical, if it is leaning or sinking please arrange a builder/roofer to remove and repair the pot prior to me sweeping, although they may look reasonably small from ground level, chimney pots are actually very big and very heavy and the action of the brush will cause it to fall off the chimney stack.

I reserve the right to refuse to sweep the chimney if i deem the condition of the chimney/pots/stack to be dangerous. A chimney stack, pot and any cowls should be able to withstand a chimney sweeping, if for any reason a pot/ cowls breaks or become dislodged during this process the sweep cannot take any responsibility.
